Go yearly before your trial ends and Gymkee adds a third free month to the two the yearly plan already includes: 90 free days.
How the Gymkee free trial works
The Gymkee free trial is 14 days of full access to every feature, started with an email and a password, with no credit card and nothing to cancel. During those 14 days you can earn up to 13 extra trial days by completing nine setup steps inside Gymkee, each worth between 1 and 3 days, which takes the longest possible trial to 27 days. Separately, if you switch to a yearly plan before your trial ends, Gymkee adds a third free month to the two already included with the yearly plan, so your paid subscription starts with 90 free days.

Add yourself as a client
+1 dayGymkee does this for you during signup: you are invited as your own first client. Download the Gymkee app on your phone and create your athlete account with the same email. Your coach account and your athlete account are two different accounts.
-
Add your social media
+1 dayOpen your personal information and paste your Instagram, TikTok or YouTube handles. When a client shares a finished workout, your handle travels with it, so every share becomes a way for new clients to find you.
-
Watch 3 Gymkee University lessons
+1 dayGymkee University is built into your dashboard. Pick any 3 short lessons, the ones on programs and client onboarding are the best first picks, and watch them through. Playback is counted automatically, nothing to tick.
-
Do your own workout in the client app
+1 dayBuild a short program (a template is fine) and send it to your own athlete account. Open the Gymkee app on your phone, start the workout and finish it. It is the fastest way to understand what your client goes through.
-
Add one of your own exercises
+1 dayFilm or upload one exercise you actually use with your clients, name it and pick the muscles it targets. Your own library is what makes your programs look like yours rather than a template.
-
A real client creates their account and gets a program
+3 daysInvite a real client (not you) by email or with your invite link. Once they have created their account, send them their first program. This is the step that turns Gymkee from software you are testing into the place your coaching happens.
-
Send a nutrition program to a client
+2 daysDwayne already built you a nutrition program during signup. Open it, adjust the targets and meals to your client, and send it. Coaches who add nutrition keep their clients far longer.
-
Send an assessment to a client
+2 daysCreate an assessment from a template: measurements, photos and a few questions. Send it to a client so you have a starting point. It is how your client sees their own progress, and how you prove your coaching works.
-
A client finishes their first workout
+1 dayNothing to do on your side. As soon as your client finishes their first workout in Gymkee, you see their performance in your dashboard, and this step counts on its own.
-
Go yearly before your trial ends
+30 days1 month free on top of the 2 already included with the yearly plan, so 90 free days. You also get the Dwayne credits for those 3 months. The extra month only applies during your trial.
Why these steps
The ladder is the order that makes each step reachable: set up what a client will see, put a real programme in front of a real person, then let the rest follow.
A real client with a real program is the whole game
A programme in front of a real client is the first time Gymkee does your job rather than shows you a screen. Everything else on the ladder is easier once that exists, which is why this step is worth the most days.
Be your own first client
Add yourself as a client and do one of your own workouts in the client app. It takes ten minutes and it is the only way to see exactly what your client sees, before they see it.
Your client finishing a workout is the moment it clicks
This is where Gymkee stops being software you are testing and becomes your business: your client trains, the session comes back to you, and you answer it.
Nutrition, assessments and your own exercises are strong signals
A nutrition programme, an assessment and your own exercise each take a few minutes and each makes the coaching your client receives feel like yours. They earn days too.
Week two matters, which is why the base stays at 14 days
Two weeks is long enough to bring a real client in, send a programme and get a session back, without hurrying you through the part that matters. The base is 14 days and everything above it is earned.
Your first 10 minutes
If you only have ten minutes today, do this. It covers three rungs of the ladder.
-
You are already your own first client
Signup invites you as a client automatically, so the first rung is ticked before you do anything.
Open my dashboard -
Install the Gymkee app on your phone
Create your athlete account with the same email. Two accounts on purpose: this is how you see exactly what your clients see.

Build your first program
Start from a template, or ask Dwayne to build one from a sentence like "3 full-body sessions a week for a beginner".

Send it to yourself, then to a real client
Send the program to your athlete account, open Gymkee and do one workout. Then invite a real client and send it again.

+ 1 more month if you go yearly before your trial ends
= 90 free days

See how we handle dataQuestions about the trial
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. You sign up with an email and a password. For 14 days you get full access, and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.
What happens at day 14?
Your trial ends on the date shown in your dashboard, which includes every extra day you earned. If you have not chosen a plan by then, your account is paused: your programs and clients are kept, your clients simply lose access to Gymkee until you subscribe.
Can I extend my trial?
Yes, by doing the steps on this page. Each one adds days to your trial the moment you claim it in Gymkee, up to 13 extra days on top of the 14. Unused earned days do not carry over into a paid plan.
Can I import my clients and programs from another app?
Yes. You can invite clients in bulk from a CSV, and Dwayne can read your PDF, CSV or Excel programs and turn them into Gymkee workouts. See the switch pages for a step-by-step guide per app.
Can my clients use Gymkee for free?
Yes. The Gymkee app is free for your clients, on iOS and Android. They download it, log in with the invitation you sent, and see everything you built for them.
What if I only coach in person?
The ladder works the same. Your in-person clients get their program in Gymkee, log their sessions with you or on their own, and you see their progress between sessions. Many coaches use Gymkee for exactly that.
Is Dwayne included in the trial?
Yes. Dwayne AI is built into Gymkee and available from day one of your trial, with the monthly credits of the Pro plan. It builds programs, nutrition plans and answers questions about your clients.
How do I cancel?
If you never pick a plan, there is nothing to cancel. If you do subscribe, monthly plans are no-commitment and you can cancel anytime from your subscription settings.
