How to Do Machine crunch
A seated oblique crunch on a machine designed to target the oblique muscles by rotating the torso during the crunch movement.
Instructions:
Sit on the machine with your feet secured and back against the pad.
Place your hands lightly by your head or grip the handles if available.
Engage your core and rotate your torso to one side while crunching forward.
Pause briefly at the bottom of the movement, squeezing your obliques.
Return slowly to the starting position.
Complete all reps on one side, then switch to the other.
Common mistakes:
Using momentum instead of controlled movement.
Pulling with the arms rather than engaging the obliques.
Allowing the weight stack to slam down between reps.
